During the operation of a closed cooling tower, special procedures must be followed to ensure the normal operation and efficiency of the equipment.
（1） Inspection before startup
1. After installation, check the motor wiring again according to the electrical wiring diagram to see if there are any omissions, check if the fan blades and water pump impellers are stuck, if the steering is correct, clean the surface cooler coil and water receiving tray, ensure that the float valve is intact, the water supply is normal, and the water level should be in the normal position.
2. Check that all valves of the cooler are in normal working condition.
（2） Start up and run
1. Turn each switch of the control cabinet to the off position, and then connect the main power supply.
After the main power is connected, please first observe whether the control power indicator light is powered on normally, and then observe whether the temperature displayed on the temperature controller is normal. After confirming that there are no abnormal situations, test each fan and water pump one by one.
3. Start the fan and observe if it is normal without any abnormal noise. The wind direction should be blowing upwards.
4. Start the spray pump, observe if it operates normally, turn clockwise, and check if the spray water is evenly distributed.
5. After everything is normal, first open all valves on the pipeline, except for the outlet valve of the main circulating water pump. Ensure that all other valves are open, then half open the valve at the outlet of the main circulating water pump, activate the open button of the main circulating water pump on the electrical control cabinet, and observe whether it operates normally. The method is the same as above, and then observe the pressure display on the pressure gauge at the inlet of the cooling tower. If the pressure is not within the predetermined pressure range, Fully open the outlet valve of the main circulating water pump.
（3） During operation inspection
1. The fan and water pump should operate without any noise or abnormal shaking, and the motor temperature should rise normally.
2. The water level is normal, the float valve is not stuck, the switch is flexible, and the water replenishment is normal.
（4） Discharge of air and sewage in the cooling tower
If the circulation pipeline is completely closed, an exhaust valve (automatic or manual) must be installed on the circulation pipeline, which should be located at the highest point of the inlet pipeline and the top of the outlet pipeline; Install a drain valve at the lowest point of the pipeline for sewage discharge.
（5） Parking of cooling tower
1. According to actual needs, users can freely arrange downtime.
2. After the host is stopped, it is recommended that the cooling water pump for the heat generating equipment work for a period of time to remove the waste heat before stopping the cooling tower.
（6） Attention
1. If the main circulation pump is one for use and one for backup, please note that when one of the pumps is running, please close the butterfly valve at the outlet of the other pump to prevent backflow from causing it to reverse and burn out the motor.
2. Areas with outdoor temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius in winter. A certain proportion of antifreeze liquid needs to be added to the circulating water. For specific methods, please contact the company's after-sales service personnel.
3. In severely cold areas, an electric heater should be installed on the water collection tray to heat the water before operation to prevent freezing and damage to the spray pump.
